NEW TO OUR PRACTICE?
We please ask that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment, as this allows time to fill in the appropriate paperwork required for a new patient. At the time of your 30-minute consultation, your chiropractor will thoroughly discuss your history to assist them in performing an appropriate examination and accurately diagnosing your condition. Your appointment will include an orthopaedic and neurological examination and interpretation of imaging if available. A treatment plan will be implemented, including adjustments or mobilisations, soft tissue techniques, lifestyle changes, advice and education, and rehabilitation exercises.
What do Chiropractors do?
CARE OF THE HIGHEST OF QUALITY
We, as chiropractors, specialise in diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal conditions. Through a thorough, whole-body assessment, we identify the underlying causes of pain or dysfunction. Treatment typically includes manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue work, joint adjustments or mobilisations, and personalised rehabilitation designed to restore movement, reduce pain, and improve overall function.
With our chiropractors’ passion and positive lifestyle, they are continually invested in updating their skills and knowledge to offer the most appropriate individual care. At Integrate Health, our consultations are intentionally longer so we can work closely with you. This gives us the time to understand your personal goals and combine them with our professional guidance – ensuring your treatment is tailored and focused on achieving the results that matter to you.
The growth of the business is evident from starting in 2013 with a single practitioner to currently having a four-practitioner Allied Health Clinic. Our move in 2018 to our newly renovated clinic consists of numerous consultation rooms alongside our private rehabilitation gym. Integrate Health strives to work with like-minded people who share the same values and principles as us. With ample parking at our convenient location, we warmly welcome you to become a part of our Integrate Health community.
OUR QUALITY OF SERVICE PROVIDES THE BEST POSSIBLE CLINICAL OUTCOME FOR OUR PATIENTS.
What To Expect During Your Visit
Chiropractic care involves a combination of techniques designed to support spinal health and mobility. Each appointment begins with a discussion about your needs, followed by an assessment to help guide your treatment plan. Some of the techniques that may be included are:
- Spinal Adjustments: Gentle, targeted movements applied to the spine.
- Soft Tissue Therapy: Techniques that focus on muscles, ligaments, and tendons.
- Mobilisation: Gradual movements to improve joint flexibility.
- Postural Advice: Guidance to support daily movement and comfort.
Appointments are designed to be practical and focused, with clear communication about what will be involved at each stage. This approach allows for a personalised plan that can adapt as your needs change over time.

What happens during a chiropractic appointment?
A chiropractic appointment typically begins with a conversation about your health history, current concerns, and goals. This is followed by a physical assessment, which may include posture analysis, mobility testing, and checking muscle function. Based on this assessment, the chiropractor will outline a treatment plan that may include manual adjustments or soft tissue techniques.
Each step is explained so you understand what will be involved, and any techniques used are tailored to your needs and comfort level. Our appointments are focused on delivering evidence-based care.
Are chiropractic adjustments painful?
Chiropractic adjustments are generally not considered painful, although some people may experience mild discomfort during or after treatment. This can depend on factors such as muscle tension, joint stiffness, or the specific technique being used. The chiropractor will discuss each technique before proceeding and ensure it is appropriate for you.
Any post-treatment discomfort is typically short-lived and may be part of the body’s normal response to manual therapy. Communication with your chiropractor throughout the process helps ensure you remain comfortable.
How often should I see a chiropractor?
The frequency of chiropractic visits varies depending on your individual needs, goals, and treatment plan. Some people may require more frequent appointments initially, while others might benefit from periodic check-ins. Your chiropractor will recommend a schedule based on factors such as your lifestyle, activity levels, and the nature of your concern.
This plan can be adjusted over time as your needs change. There is no one-size-fits-all approach — the key is to follow a schedule that is practical and aligns with your care plan.
